SLAB FILLING LINE WITH LIFT SYSTEM

This is a system; the slabs are loaded to multiple-storey oven in a sequence automatically beginning from the bottom. When the slab is ready, it goes down and by the electrical direction conveyor, they are sent to the unloading conveyor. New slabs are taken out with a vacuum system.

 

FULL-AUTOMATIC SINGLE TILE CUTTING

Designed for producting tiles automatically and one-by-one without using a person. Tiles that were not cut properly before, can be cut to desired demensionss after trimming using this machine. Also, smaller tiles can be produced from big defective tiles.

TRIMMING

Designed for longitudinal cuts of semi-finished pieces of width between 150 and 650 mm and a thickness less than 40 mm for the production of semi-pieces with rectilinear longitudinal sides. To guarantee perfectly rectilinear cuts, the conveyor belt is maintained in position by two fixed longitudinal guides whilst a bar with pressure rollers prevents any possible deviation of the material being machined.

UV LAMPS

The UV lamps are developed as mercury, gallium and metal halide lamps with arc lengths of 10 to 240 cm and with power outputs of 40 to 600 W/cm to meet the specific needs of UV curing machines with an extensive product range. They are manufactured in Europe with the guarantee of EMA. In the marble industry, the UV resins are cured by 120 W/cm powered UV lamps with 80 cm arc length for the strip lines and 200 cm arc length for the slab lines.

When working with UV lamps, the usage of the proper transformer is vital. Choosing the correct transformer and electrical equipment is important as much as the UV lamp itself. EMA manufactures the transformers according to the needs of the process of the customers. The domestic and export machines over 2000 pieces clearly proves the effectiveness of our own systems.

1000 operation hours are guaranteed for each lamp under the proper operating conditions. The lamps should not be touched. Otherwise deformations on the touch points of the lamp will be observed. The lamps should be cleaned by alcohol with a smooth fabric without any fibers if touched.

The UV lamps have the most effective curing capacity for the first 700 operating hours. After 700 hours their capacity starts to become weaker. A UV lamp can be operated for 1500 – 2000 hours when the required operating conditions are reached.

 

IR LAMPS

The IR lamps are used for drying. These lamps are also manufactured in Europe with the guarantee of EMA. In the marble industry, 3 kW powered IR lamps with a filament length of 64 cm are placed as 1 piece per row for the strip lines and 3 pieces per row for the slab lines. The number of the rows is determined by EMA R&D department according to the needs of the process of the customers.

The MMP products can be classified as transparent filling materials for marble, travertine and surface coating materials for limestone.

The MMP filling UV resins are special chemicals that are cured within seconds when meeting the UV light and do not cause any color discrepancy by time. They preserve the color of the material with a smooth, transparent and shiny natural look.

The MMP limestone surface coating UV resins are used to provide liquid isolation, scratch-proof ability and protection against dirt and stain. Since the chemical viscosity is very low, the limestone can absorb it with a depth of 10 mm and the curing process ends easily within seconds under the UV lamp light. Then the chemical forms a complete liquid isolation and helps the stone to keep its natural look without being effected by any dirt and stain. So the limestone can be wiped easily without any scratch and keeps a shiny look.
